Save the date! The World of Bob Dylan 2023 will take place the week of May 30-June 4, 2023 in conjunction with Switchyard, Tulsa’s premier festival of art, ideas, and music. The majority of Dylan events–including panels, keynotes, performances, roundtables, concerts, and more–will take place over June 2-4.
Scholars, critics, journalists, musicians, and fans from around the world will convene in Tulsa to study Bob Dylan, his work, and contexts. This year’s conference will not only build upon the fruitful work begun in 2019, but also introduce new questions and perspectives on elements of Dylan that often get overlooked amid his expansive work. From Theme Time Radio Hour, to Dylan’s latest visual artwork and the forthcoming Philosophy of Modern Song—the World of Bob Dylan 2023 will grapple with the unexpected influences, influencers, and legacies of all kinds while featuring a robust set of evening concerts, keynotes, and performances.
